2024/25 Relegation Thread

And hire who?

Then in the summer when we hopefully have new owners in a new stadium we are stuck with a short term solution so lads on the Internet can feel correct
Agree but a choice might have to be made if results go really bad then yes will have to look at something. Could be another big sam appointment short term with a big payout at the end same with dyche who would also be paid out alot.

Cloud cuckoo land stuff: sack Dyche before his contract expires in 8 months time when we're nowhere like one of the favourites to be relegated and it's November 5th and 10 games into the season.

I do wonder sometimes what world some people live in. The level of hate for Dyche must be off the charts to carry this much irrational obsession.

….whilst I mainly agree, the one issue I have with this is his contract situation. It’s not only him, it’s a number if players who are also in ‘contract limbo’ and I fear that could impact if the going gets really tough.

Pretty sure i know who lives in cuckoo land mate. There is a nice spot reserved solely for Dychettes with some of the codswallop they come out with on here. TFG sack managers for fun no matter how long is left on their contract. They have literally just done that a few months ago. They are in the business of winning, not failure and excuses.

I do wonder sometimes what world Dychettes live in. Their adoration for Dyche must be off the charts to carry such an irrational obsession with the defence of someone so poor.
I've seen in the past posters on here screaming about relegation in order to get shut of Martinez...when we were 11th in the table.

There's a proportion of our fans - denied the excitement of cup wins for so long - who can only get their kicks from a managerial sacking and hiring process.

This is the truth and it's what's driving this bogus 'relegation' debate.

Everyone knows it too.

This just isn't true, is it? I'm sure loads of even his fiercest critics wouldn't swap him for Benitez or Frank.

I would 100% rather have Lampard than Dyche.

I wouldnt want Lampard back as manager at all but I would choose him over Dyche.

Dyche is doing just as bad as Lampard and he has a much better squad.

We're in a good position this summer if we get home and dry safely, which Ild say is odds on. Lots of departures and a managerial clean slate if required.

dyche couldn't beat luton in 3 attempts last season

Luton are now 21st in the Championship above Plymouth Argyle on goal difference

does that not even make your bum twitch a little bit?

Come off it. Dyche has had plenty of time to prove he is a football manager, he has done a terrible job. The football is awful, tactics are none existent, team selections are baffling and most importantly the results are terrible and we don't look like we can win enough games this season.

Nah the truth is much more simpler than that mate. This fella is currently doing an atrocious job and deserves to be sacked.

Dyche's pattern is: win or draw a few games; lose a few games.

I think that pattern will hold and we'll be more than ok.

For people to be pulling the rip cord at this point is ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.

And for that reason I say again that their concerns are not genuine. They just have a blood lust to see the manager sacked.

He keeps us safe. End of story. Awful football is not an issue right now. Safe football is what's required.

Nope. Dyche's pattern is win 2 out of 10 this season and 20 out of 65 with 69 goals scored and 95 goals conceded since he has been here.
