He means like last season. Very poor start but ultimately it was 23 points gained against Luton, Forest, Brentford, Sheffield United and Burnley.

Even 20 points from that group and you're pretty much staying up with the odd win against someone in the top half.

A couple when Branthy is back.

It's actually a fairly small team without him. Tim dosen't have the same presence as Onana, fullbacks are small and no real threat and Harrison and McNeill are more takers so really only DCL, Doucs and Tarks who are likely to get on the end of corners/set pieces and two of those probably shouldn't be playing at this moment.

My kneejerk reaction is we won’t be fortunate enough to dodge it a third time, but then we’ve played two teams far better than us with quite a few good players missing, so the reality is we’ll probably be fine. Even if we are fine, though, it’ll still be a torrid season full of diarrhoea-inducing football.

I had no idea relegation was sorted after 2 games.

Looking at the table I can see we are 0 points from safety. With so few games remaining can we turn it around?

Is the correct answer.

Don't see this side getting close to 48 points again so think it's more likely to be in 38-40 point range so scrambling around yet again to win those six pointers at Goodison in March-May.

Looking at this season's fixture list don't really want to be going into the final 8 games needing to win half of them to stay up.

Need to be getting plenty of wins either side of Xmas.
