2024/25 Relegation Thread

We won’t get that lucky every week in December.
no we won't.... It was encouraging to see Wolves being tonked at home though, thought they were going to go on a good run and climb out. We don't need this stress of yet another battle with relegation and the doomsday scenario if we go down and them lot win everything. The only consolation I have is there are plenty of games left at the moment and a new coach with new approach or style of play that has tactical ability and picks the correct players at the correct time can get us out of this. I do the think the players can collectively play better than they are currently and we just need a better manager to get it out of them, let's face it... it can't be any worse.

I think we’re just about better than the teams below us, bar maybe Wolves (although Palace also have a better squad arguably) but I can’t make the argument for anyone above us. We’re right in it until we can hopefully roll the dice on 3/4 players in Jan.

The bottom 8 is the same as it always is. There are teams who are all roughly on the same level and it comes down to the manager being able to eke out that tiny bit more from the players that are more limited than those in the upper echelons of the division. That's what happened last season with us but this season Dyche isn't able to do that. Change it up and get in a manager who can and we will be fine. Hold on for too long and we will have a last game decider again.

Think it would be a good balanced back 3. Unfortunately to play that formation good wing backs are needed which we don't have
We need to find balance which allows for us to be narrow and yet with players like Patterson, McNeil, Coleman, Young and Harrison we have actual width.

If we played 3 upfront, we would see more of Lindstrom and Ndiaye who are attacking forwards not midfielders and that would again add width and creativity

It is a easy fix and he can't see it because he is a terrible manager.

Ok so by that logic we are exactly were we should be and Dyche is maximizing his squad, the players are at their best right now?

hahaha
