2024/25 Relegation Thread

I could. Massively so.

We've all seen in the last three seasons Everton in dire straits. This doesn't look like that. Not at all.

We're above the fray - just. But more importantly we aren't now being rolled over by too many teams.

I'd place our chances of relegation at about 5%.
The uncertainty around the future of so many players, and the manager, is the concern for me. The takeover couldn’t be happening at a better time to bring fresh talented legs and a new voice.

We're even now on target fro 38.

I can't see 38 points being well clear of 18th this season. It will be low 30s so I assume you get to 38 by winning the Southampton game in the final Goodison match so it will still be up in the air in May.

Could easily lose the next three so that's why I'm not getting carried away even if Wolves was excellent win and performance.

Completely unrelated to this thread but I still massively fancy Arsenal to pip RS to the title.

Villa and City teams in the doldrums.

Newcastle were in the doldrums but needed Pickford to save a penalty to scrape the 0-0. Also lost to Southampton who are permanently in a terrible state.

Palace will be fine IF they keep their key players fit. Mateta, Sarr and Eze is a pretty good front three for bottom half.

Ipswich looked to be improving but their problem is they can't impose themselves with relegation six pointers. Barely did anything at home to Palace which surprised me.

Wolves all on how long before they sack O'Neil.

Oh yeah life goes on and that but reading the first statement did rock me and I'm no fan of West Ham at all but it's a human life at the end of the day. Haven't had any desire to watch Man. United-Forest because of it.

At least he's stable in Hospital which was a better update than I was expecting when I first saw the news so hopefully he keeps progressing. One of those players who's maximised his talent and more in the last 15 years.
He had a dodgy crash last Xmas whilst dressed as a snowman with a carrot for his nose

🤣 🤣 🤣

Watching Forest go to OT and have a go and going 1-0 up inside 2 minutes!!!!!!

Dyche would be in full on pap kegs mode as we roll over and let Utd smash our back doors in.

I didn`t hear Santo talking about relegation fights pre-season or at all this season.

Like has been said many times it absolutely suits Dyche to keep Everton in this position just about the drop zone, he actively benefits from it, get this Twit gone ASAP, killing the enjoyment any of us have of watching football.

….seem to remember we had decent opportunities in the first 20mins at Old Trafford but lacked the quality to exploit them.

Forest went to City in midweek and rolled over to give them their only win in 9 games.
