2024/25 Relegation Thread

Im not convinced about that. I dont even think they would buy him.
Seen Wissa few times 1 on 1s with keeper. Hit the net.
DCL misses them.
Could be searching for answers when the answer might just be poor manager poor striker.
Not suggesting they'd buy him. It's a hypothetical situation to illustrate how poorly coached our team are.

Jep our attack is badly coached, but the only player of us that would play in the Brentford or Forest squad of us would be Ndiaye.

Wissa and Wood are another level comparing to DCL or Beto.

The same Chris Wood reached double diggits at Burnley 4 seasons under Dyche the same manager that has been here for the last 2 years and I don't think DCL didn't get enough chances to have 10+ goals last season, and to be at 4-5 this season already.

I know that but its deeper than that imo.
Calvert lewin had the worst XG in the premier league last season. Brentford wouldnt be on 31 goals right now with calvert lewin up front for them under thomas frank. No chance.

Calvert Lewin has 79 xG in his whole time here, he scored 56 in the PL. That's almost a 30% difference.

100% my sentiments.
Its just typical that the only "new manager bounce" he's had is Everton. Spurs is another one where i dont think they broke sweat.
Just fingers crossed stuff now for the next 6 or 7 weeks.
Dyche should have had this team on at least 19/20 points by now with the set of fixtures. We needed that cushion with dec/jan fixtures.
Arsenal away next week has the potential bloodbath.
I don’t think it was a new manager bounce against us, we are just so bad and they know our strikers are so bad they had nothing to fear.

Bad strikers or not you dont want to see a collapse like that. I thought the whole point in Dyche was tough nut to crack.
We've collapsed a few times this season.

By the way, Palace: I thought they looked ropey even against a badly medicore City team.

I dont expect them to get much from their next 3 games: Brighton (a), Arsenal (h), Bournemouth (a).

And I dont expect their attackers to have the form they showed last season.

They'd be my choice for a team falling through the cracks this time round, tbh. I know many will disagree, but I dont see anything in that team. And that manager of theirs is a bit of a bluffer IMO.
With regard to the form the attackers showed last season, Olise is doing all right tbf.
