2024/25 Relegation Thread

Yeah thought it was the same one. Since 2022 he's managed in Brazil and Saudi Arabia so that is a big old roll of the dice from Wolves if he's their number one target.

I know it's not a fashionable thing to say but credit to Kenwright if he steered Moshiri away from appointing him and turned to Lampard instead.
Yeah, and I think considering their biggest weakness is their CBs and their defense, it may be an odd fit. Theres no way they can stay up giving up the goals they are. Maybe he pulls something out, but seems unorthodox to try and pull that from a guy who has only managed in a bunch of minor leagues the past 10 years.

Yeah yeah its all the players. they are crap. Managers are completely blameless. Never expected anything different from you so thanks for proving my point.
Benitez & Lampard both had far more attacking options. Each manager has had incrementally worse resources at their disposal. If you're hoping for a manager bounce fine but there's been a deeper rooted problem at play at Everton.

I don't think annybody can be credited with employing Frank Lampard...

Palace have some top players and always lok decent to me, so would have been a surprise if they ended up having trouble. Saying that i didnt see them winning today, i may think only Al may have thought it, if he's part of the 2% that thought they would win

Yep, decent squad and they've got wins when it matters.

Palace are a side that im not ever surprised if they get a result anywhere. They've got it in them to do that. I mean we havent.
Wolves now is the unknown. Despite the sales there is still a half decent attacking side there.
Just dont know now with a new manager.
We know what we're getting with Dyche. There is just nothing unpredictable there. We're still reliant on others being sh!t.

Spot on and that's the worry isn't it.

Still dont think palace anything special think very similar to us, disagree when people say reliant on others being bad is more that we need to take the chances we get has been the problem again this season. Hopefully now we can get bwck to being defensively strong and start taking advantage of the chances we create. For me getting the takeover done and bringing in some new players can teally help us push away

It was never going to work out long term but he did what was needed in the business end of that season unless people think anyone could've beaten Chelsea, Leicester away and Palace from two goals down. Considering the state of the club staying up before the final day was a decent achievement and there finally seemed to be a connection forming again with the fanbase.

Shame it was just a mirage.
