2024/25 Relegation Thread

I've not felt nervous about relegation this season.

With Southampton and Ipswich not good enough and Wolves not closing the gap with an easier set of fixtures. Low 30's will secure safety and that is only four more wins and a handful of draws.

I don't want Dyche here, but we will hit that target even with Dyche in charge.

Wolves never closed the gap under O'Neil. Nobody really knows how perira will get on. Any team that can score has a chance. They're the highest scorers down the bottom. If he manages to shut the back door slightly then who knows. Bit annoyed Cunha is playing today. He should be on a ban already.

He will be out of a job before the end of the season, Ipswich won’t be paying him 5 mill + in the championship.
McKenna has obviously done a great job at the club but he might be regretting knocking Brighton back now. It would’ve been the perfect time to leave Ipswich. Who knows, he may keep them up, but they are giving real Luton vibes from last season, giving a good account of themselves, but lack the quality needed.

He did pretty much find the better adaption than Russell Martin obviously, 5 vs 12 points with a similar squad.

They’re both well in it until the end of the season regardless of what happens here. Draw would have be perfect though,

There’s arguments that each outcome has some kind of a positive really

Leicester winning cuts Wolves further adrift

Wolves winning puts Leicester in more danger and possibly increases their chances of bad morale

A draw essentially keeps both sides where they are and doesn’t really help either of them

The simplest and most likely outcome is still the three promoted teams going down, especially if the PL nail Leicester for PSR in one of the last two seasons. Judging by the last two performances they may have gone backwards under RVN.
