The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

I’m thinking if the 2 games we completely blew.
I know they had a worldy to aid their comeback but I was never completely comfortable even at 0-2 at Villa away, however the real gut punch for me was Bournemouth at home, battered them, players and supporters have a great day, the team actually looked as though they were enjoying themselves and then we blew it.

Throw in Leicester, Newcastle and Fulham then it’s really poor. 4 points from 21 from that set of games means we need some wins quickly to just get us some distance.
Because of the last 3 results it has gone unnoticed but we have failed to score in 6 of the last 8 games... 3 wins in 16 this season despite being 2-0 up in 2 of them games and 8 wins since 16th December 2023, 8 wins in the last 37 games!

Only this club and our some of our fanbase can think that is good enough and moreover they think another manager doesn`t do any better 😂 😂 😂.

Any other club in this country sacks a manager for that sort of statistic... utterly woeful, the man doesn`t know how to wins games, to coin his phrase yet he talks about winners and winning like he has never had the negative loser mentality which he absolutely has. No matter what level or what players the return is exactly the same! Poor....

Look at Forest, play to similar to us but the mentality is poles apart, Nuno went in there and kept them up, finished a way behind us but he never once mentioned a relegation fight this season yet Dyche was trying to sell it to anyone that will listen...

He knows he isn`t capable of anything more than a relegation fight....

Comical this thread.

Go and ask any Arsenal, Chelsea or City fan if we'll be relegated.
But that will just be their opinion, ask any City fan last season if they`d think they`d be 7th around Xmas 14 points behind Liverpool having played a game more and below the likes of Forest and Bournemouth and level on points with fulham.

Fact is we are 3 points off the dropzone, won 8 in the last 37, only won 3 this season and failed to score in 6 of the last 8 games.

I suppose you think it`s all rosey and proud of the work Dyche is doing, my standards for this club is higher than that and Dyche at any other club in the world would be sacked with that sort of record.

Muppet. The time for sacking Dyche was the summer. Days before the transfer window and coming off the back of 3 great performances against top teams isn't the time.

Always a good time to sack a failing manager, clearly 8 wins in 37 is very much acceptable to you.... muppet!

After Bournemouth we don`t play another PL for 2 weeks, ideal opportunity...

We are where we are as a club and have to remain safe.

We are where we are as a club and have to remain safe.
Remaining safe is keeping us hovering above the drop zone with a guy who has only won 8 games in nearly a whole league season?

And not scoring in 6 of the last 8 games?

I think you are very confused, we are in more danger with Dyche than changing him now, you are massively over exagerating the ability he has to manage in the PL.

Unless we can find a goal scorer or some attacking competence we are going to struggle.

It’s ok defending against big teams and gaining a draw but we need wins, and we don’t look capable of breaking down 10 man teams or other teams playing the defensive game.

We’re in trouble unless Broja or someone starts scoring.

Lol still fishing.
They'd say we're the most boring side in this division. And i'd struggle to disagree.
If you'd offered any Everton fan at the start of the season 17 points from a possible 51 and less than a goal a game none would have took it
We've dug out a few good draws and we're still one game away from the bottom three.
We need to put some wins on the board.

Go and ask City and Arsenal fans lol.
