Nobody wants to be down there. Having standards is not enough. You need a team (and ye possibly a better manager) to carry out those standards. But as has been mentioned probably thousands of times at this rate, Everton have a longstanding problem of opening teams up who sit back at home.

It’s not really about one game in isolation is it, but then you know that. It’s about the manner of the football played, it’s about celebrating draws as if they were wins and it’s about the lack of any kind of attacking nous in the team. Someone by me today joked that Dyche would come out to defend the 0 -1 deficit, whilst it’s a joke that’s the mentality of the way he plays.
Thought Gary O Neil was unlucky in a few games as well but obviously results matter, clearly not here tho. If he doesn’t go this season new owners are already showing a lack of ambition for me should have showed a big set of coconuts and fired him out the door the minute the takeover was approved.
