2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

We need to do something to effect positive change in January whether that’s players, managers or both. That’s for certain.

With Dyche I think it will be a couple of draws at best in the next four games (perhaps better against Spurs but I assume they'll have some proper CBs fit in a week or two or sign a new one).

Going to be very lucky if Ipswich can't capitalise on that. Wolves just taken 7 points from three games after looking abysmal for months so they just need to find another win and suddenly a team with just 3 points going into November will be ahead in the table which is really not a good look at all for the manager given the way the fixtures have fallen so far.

Only Ipswich have anything in them. Southampton and Leicester have already used up their new manager trump card and have only got worse. Wolves's change has paid off so far.

Worry with Ipswich is they've got positive vibes and a manager everyone there loves, whereas we're in a rut under a manager nobody wants. They pretty much expect to go back down but the spirit has kept them going, a bit like Luton last season until they fell away. We need Ipswich to ultimately fall off like Luton did. That's the first game they've won at home.

Worry is they've won it. Around this time last year Luton were leading against Arsenal and Man. City at home but couldn't quite get over the line and lost both by a goal and that was their general story at Kenilworth road.

In massive trouble if Ipswich follow this win up by winning a couple more at home as so often happens.

This was before our December run, wolves have gained a point on us, gap has increased to Leicester and stayed the same with Ipswich

Palace have pulled away the most

However recent wins swing some momentum to Ipswich and wolves so all depends on next couple of rounds of games

We did play one game less however against the RS

Have to say aswell Man. United look every inch a team and club that is going to keep losing games for the next few months. Ignore the names and reputations, at 22 points they are far from safety given what they're producing currently. Annoying they'll probably have found something by the time they come to Goodison but can't write that one off.
