2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

This manager and these players better realize, soon, that they don't want to be the ones that sent us down...talk about being haunted by your past. In this day and age they'll never fail to be reminded of it by blues, no matter where they go.

Wake the feck up.
I don't think many will be bothered - genuinely. Half of them are leaving in the summer, the manager will likely always find an offer at a struggling club, and all of them are earning at least a million pounds before the end of the season even if we lose nine nil every week. I think people hugely overestimate how much these mercenaries care about their clubs - you'd see a lot more fight if they did.

Watching Ipswich tonight and seeing the desire, energy and belief they have. 3 things we are severely lacking in. It’s such a sad state of affairs that we are (again) relying on teams below us to be worse than us. It’s scandalous.

Forest have shown that money invested wisely and a positive attitude/game plan can work wonders under a decent coach.

Instead we splurge money on Beto and O’Brien who aren’t even deemed good enough to start for us.

We can’t continue the season as we are, relegation beckons if we do.
I don't think we lack energy. I'm also not convinced that we're lacking desire. What we lack is brains and talent. Our decision-making is abysmal.

What I did notice yesterday when looking at last seasons stats was that at the half way stage (exactly after 19 games) having played everyone (only rs to play for us now and I don’t expect any points from that) we had one point less than we do now.

Given where we ended up even with that horrid run of 13 winless games mainly in the second half of the season, we ended up with 48 on field points - an additional 32 points from the final 19 games which was a surprising points haul to me.

I don’t expect that to happen, but I guess we’ve just got to hope something like that happens again, but it is more with hope than expectation. I think Southampton are as equally bad as any of those teams who went down last year (if not worse) but Ipswich and Leicester are slightly stronger.

A big chunk of the players won’t be here next year, so they won’t have to deal with any hangover

I really really don’t want to get relegated, I’d hate it.
But will the world end? No. Will it change my life? No. Will it ruin my weekends? Probably the opposite.

Let’s roll the dice and bring in a manager that plays football. I’m done with this coward.

Would release up some seasons tickets for some who have missed out. Already persons squeaking on social media about their corporate boxes being priced as ELP club not Championship and wanting recourse if the worst happens, assume that mentality works it way down to us average Jo's...

I think its a massive call but we have to act now.
We have too many people at the club players and manager that know that whatever happens on the pitch they will not see the club in the new stadium.
Who do we go for? Not Moyes,Potter and definitely not Southgate. I would try for Frank's who may be ready to step up to a bigger club,he would probably say no but we could ask.
He would be a safe option without the risk of someone with no prem experience.
