2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Well I'm refusing to get worried about a relegation battle.

Despite real huge concerns....

Sooo many posters on here are saying we're too good to go down: there are, apparently, there are at least 3 teams worse than us.

I'm not too sure.
There is more than 3 worse teams than us BUT the caveat to that is there isn’t one worse manager!

Whatever club this fraud is at skirts with relegation so until he’s gone relegation will always be a threat! He’s won 25 out of the last 100 games he’s managed!

I think it would be quite arrogant for us to state "we won`t go down" despite most of the metrics showing us in the bottom 3. Ipswich and Leicester will make a fist of it now we have dropped so close and given them a chance.

Dyche will not lose as many as Leicester or Ipswich but both those teams I think will win more games than Everton so right now it is a 1 in 3 chance we stay up and I hate to say it Dyche can`t draw his way to safety this season which makes him a busted flush.

But we know what this club would have done previously, keep everything as it is and bury their head in the sand. With TFG I don`t see any reaction to this and they will do exactly the same as the previous boards and regimes or they would be doing something, but they aren`t doing 💩. Literally playing Russian roulette with our PL status.

We're doing nothing to suggest otherwise? We've only lost 3 games in 12.

The loss column isn't the issue at the moment, it's the win column.

3 losses in 12 games sounds great, 3 wins in 18 doesn't.

I still think we will be a Premier League club next season and I have confidence that we now have owners who will make a managerial change if needed during the season, but we are too close for comfort. We need to get some wins under our belt.

Apart from the most important one: the league table.

TFG have only been in charge a couple of weeks, if you were expecting wholesale changes to have happened already then you're always going to be disappointed.

They`ve literally been in and around the club for at least the last 3 months since the regulatory process started, all this "been in 2 weeks" is absolute tosh....

IF they havent looked at the manager and the numbers he has been pulling since the deal was agreed on 23rd September I am worried by this lot, total negligence.

Last half of each of the seasons we've had under Dyche: if we repeated their points haul this season it'd put us onto 37 or 38 points.

Which might be enough. Or should be enough. But again we’d only be feeling more comfortable because of how trash teams like Southampton are.

Well that's where we are as an organisation...under Dyche or anyone else replacing him.

The bigger protests right now should be for those spivs who just shuffled the club's debts round to gain control of it to stick their hands in their pockets and buy the players we need to get goals.
