2024/25 Relegation Thread

They do seem to need a crisis mentality to get results, the problem with that is its too early in the season as far as their concerned but not for us.

When we drew the derby 0-0 under Lampard at GP, and that was also the first game after the window closed, there was a definate feeling then that we wouldn't be troubled by relegation.

That was a draw against one of the big guns, and yesterday was a home defeat to Bournemouth.

In all ways, if the side can't close out three points under yesterdays circumstances, then when can they?

That's the biggest issue, and why we face another battle.

Dyche has set up everything based on a tight defence. We have to get back to that and JB will obviously be a huge help.

It would help if the of Keane and Coleman weren't part of our defence. If they have to be used, put them on the bench. Let Dixon, Patterson, and O'Brien start games. Gueye is another that has to be used sparingly.

Thing with coleman hate even saying this but could have even put young on was a simple change. Coleman might wanted to have played all game but his legs was gone with two fast players bought onto that side

Diasgree massively to thst is more that age and injuries caught up with him.

At 2-1 down yesterday, 6 of our team were 30 or older.

These aren’t wet behind the ears. These are experienced pro’s. Coleman was one of them. Our captain.

I am surprised and beyond gutted that those 6 did not see that game out at that point. All they had to do was play it simple for a few minutes, pass back to Pickford, keep hold of the ball, take their time on throws, win soft free kicks, take the sting out of the game.

They’ll have done that all their careers. Even while disappointed at throwing away the lead, at 2-2 they could have done it still. What on earth happened?!

100% agree with you is nothing new with this team, i do think was a reason why coleman got caught out his side because of age injuries is still not a pass because should have seen the game out. We do need new leaders in this team would love a cm aswell who could do this a lead for us.
