We know they're not going to be led by the nose by a load of scallies waving their Ma's bedsheets around.

Technically , we don’t even know that .
They seemed to be quite responsive at Roma recently.
Realistically though, they have a choice to back a
failing manager ( who after two years has us 1point above relegation , not a firefighter I’d rely on personally unless I was pulling an insurance job) or being bold and acting to secure our PL status.

They should have never sacked Cooper. He would have kept them up, I think.

Considering the circumstances - he did a very good job at Forest, even if the football was pragmatic and uninspiring.

I think there is a lot to be said for a manager that understands the shortcomings of their side and is able to tailor their setup to get the most out of it.

I’m not sure Dyche can get much more out of this current crop. If he goes too attacking, as many seem to want teams will bypass then poor midfield and score at will.

They shouldn’t have.

I think though another manager could get more out of the team than Dyche. They’re still poor but there’s enough to move away from danger I think. They’d change things up for sure.

Yeah 3 draws gets you the same amount of points as 1 win, except you need to play 3 games of football rather than 1 to get the same number of points. I’m sure not even you need us to explain why that was a ridiculously stupid thing to say.

Despite the magnificent draws, everyone around us has made up ground in the same time period because they’ve actually won games of football.

You get the same number of points, so winning one and losing two is no worse than drawing 3. If you draw two and another team around you wins one and loses one, what happens?

You were trying to argue that we’d effectively won a game because we’d picked up 3 draws in a row. Arguing it as if it was a positive, when all the teams around us were winning games and in the end it left us 1 point clear of the drop zone after being 5 clear of it before the draws.

Three draws gives you 3 points.
1 win and two losses gives you 3 points
