2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Relegation is a real risk now. Saints have gone.

Wolves kicking a bit. Leicester and Ipswich won't win many... they are the two we have to do better than and then it's all over and the future gets rosy again lads.

Southampton are gone.

Leicester will get a points deduction & RVN plays suicide football - they are gone.

Between; Ipswich, Wolves and Everton.

So many on this forum seem to overlook that Forest knew they had the sale of Johnson to get them back on the right side of FFP.

If the Tottenham bid came at the start of the window, not the end, then Forest would have never failed - in fact, as highlight in the report, if Forest had accepted the lower offers from Athletico or Brentford, they wouldn’t have failed.

Between Forest and Everton, only one club has been short sighted, poor in the transfer market with a disregard for FFP & it isn’t Forest.
Dodgy Greek gangster involved in multiple fraudulent schemes vs an iranian accountant

I think we all know who wins that one

By that very same argument Everton could have hung onto Richarlison till the end of the transfer window when bids typically go up.

Very concerning watching that. Peterborough are clearly a poor team even at League 1 level, and we made them look comfortable for most of the night.

Outside of Ndiaye and possibly McNeil there is absolutely nothing going forward. Full backs, centre mids and forwards all amongst the worst on the ball in their positions in the league.

It's crying out for players to be brought in. If they're not, we're in a really desperate position. Our best chance of staying up in that scenario is the other teams being so poor.

Should add how drained the stadium feels right now. There's every chance there will be some huge games at home in the second half of the season and the crowd will need to get involved. If it doesn't that'll just add to our woes.

That was horrific. Any manager coming in has a lot of work to do. We have too many temp players and players not of the required quality.

It was poor. Only "new" player who looked decent was Patterson imo so I'd like to think Moyes will see sense and give him some starts just to inject some more energy down the right. He's also not scared to get crosses quickly into the box.

7 or 8 of these are starting Villa and Spurs so it dosen't fill you with huge confidence.
