2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

I think we might be gone, tbh.

Regardless of how much of a scumbag he is I'll be hopping to be proved wrong on Moyes.

The club is much more important than winning debates over managers and owners.

But I look at this situation now as all but lost. The squad was Dyche's and they were playing for him and even though many knew they wont be here next season they would have continued to put it in.

Moyes knows no one in this team starter wise and really only Coleman who he can hand a game to.

Unless he's allowed to bring 3/4 players in this January I think that's it. And, tbf, without those extra players I dont think anyone else gets us safe.

This past 24 hours has been a disaster and almost certainly relegated us.
It's not really a Dyche's squad though Dave. Currently in the squad that I can think of that were brought in under his watch of relevance is O'Brien, Young, Mangala, Tim, Harrison, Beto, Chermiti, Broja, Ndiaye, Lindstrom.

O'Brien, Broja, Chermiti and Tim have barely featured. Lindstrom and Harrison have been rubbish and Beto didn't seem to be particularly favoured by Dyche. Mangala and Young have done well. He inherited the rest.

No idea how they think there's more chance of Wolves going down than us

We HAVE to get some wins in the next few weeks, regardless of how good the opposition is. That run in April is horrible, and might see us sunk before we get to the home games against Ipswich and Southampton

Dyche legacy. Their only kin win. Nice one Sean.
Agree about those odds aswell. I cant ever bet on my club being relegated. If i wasnt an Evertonian 10-3 is tempting me in.

Leicester scored 6 goals today

Basically what they were playing last season. They're a top 2 championship squad/bottom 3 prem squad so not a shock they looked amazing against a bottom half champ team.

It's a huge week for them. Homes against Palace and Fulham, they need four points out of that otherwise they'll start to get cut off like Southampton. Also find out on Tuesday whether they're charged for PSR, indications are they will be.

We would have been gone if Dyche had stayed Dave.
How can you say that?

3 losses in 14 games and running into a load of winnable fixtures for two months.

We were nowhere near done for with Dyche. People are looking to justify this decision. I understand that...because if you cant justify it it means this: these owners are as 'kin crazy and unstable as that divvy Iranian who just slung his hook.

People are telling themselves stories for comfort here.

3 wins in 19 games mate, 15 goals in those 19 games, second lowest scorers in the prem, playing for 0-0 and hoping to nick one from a set piece, when the opposition score there is no plan B and the players and Dyche look clueless on how to actually win a game.
