The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Wolves have Liverpool and Man. City up next so they'll be down here for a while.

Do think that midfield of Lemina-Gomes-Andre is pretty good and Cunha is a difference maker (like Ndiaye) in final third so they need a run of 5-6 games where they're playing bottom half and then you judge whether they're a serious relegation contender or not.

Big 6 games coming up. Winnable games at Goodison and aways to Ipswich and Southampton so we'll know by the mid November break how desperate things are or not e.g. FSW/Lampard desperation.
If Ipswich haven’t won a game by the time we rock up, we lose, in the words of our great overseer: “I can smell it.”

I can see us getting 9 points out of the next 15. That's very doable.

10 points from 10 games will see us on course.

Palace were pretty poor but still could've won it. Guehi really good at the back.

If ever a time in the season called for a scrappy backs to the wall 1-0 at Goodison with Pickford and Tarks falling over each other to waste 20 minutes of a second half it's next week.
Yep. Anyway that gets the job done and a first win.

As said, I can see us picking up a few points now.

I also think on the road we look dangerous, Spurs aside, and we can pick up a few points away this season.
