2024/25 Relegation Thread

Oof. Leicester did well to come back, but that ending……they are already flummoxed by what Cooper is trying to do. Thats not going to help at all. Sort of frustration we normally have.

I don't think Cooper is a terrible manager but it seems an awkward fit with the fans not really rating him and so there's a negative atmosphere at the home games.

Leicester basically relegated themselves last time by keeping Brenton until mid April so they will not be making the same mistake again. He's out if they don't get four points from next two imo.

They've been in every game this season so the basis is there for someone else to come in and get a few wins. Seems Potter was all but done in the summer so a few months later maybe they'll get him this time.

Think will be a smilar situation we had dont think they have the money to sack him and was reason potter did not come. Think they have to many high expectations after being the best team in the championship, they thougjt would be better when its a tough league

Their squad is worse than the one that was relegated. We don’t have a talented squad, but its still better than the three promoted clubs and probably Wolves.

I think on balance we probably deserve to be on about 6 points for our efforts so far this season. That would have us around lower mid table. I think the strength of our fixtures so far have probably been fairly easy.

If we carry on how we are this season we could probably expect to finish around 16th/17th

Another close game they lose. They have Brentford and Brighton coming up but both are away.

Wolves will be down there going into the December period for sure. Need to be a good 7-8 points clear of them before they come to Goodison in that period.

Think Wolves will be fine too. Still Leicester (and maybe still getting points deducted?), Southampton and Ipswich for me.

We need to sort out full back cover in Jan still, as we could quite easily be struggling ourselves. Not quite sure whats going on with Tim, but its quite clear we dont control centre mid most of the time. Critical part of the pitch for me. Though, we do have a bit of firepower/threat now, so if we can get our strong defence back, im sure we will be fine.

Just wonder how much were going to have to spend in January…
