I agree with the protest. But that statement is so wide ranging as to be almost meaningless.

Simplify the message: just stick with one major issue - the sale of players and the failure so far to bring in players to what is a relegation quality squad.

It's pretty poor PR from the 27 lot, and it has been since their inception IMO.
Totally missing the point David.

It is not about the sale or incoming of players ,thats just part and parcel of the game , players come & go all the time .

It is about removing the culture that has been festering for the past 27 years , it all culminates in the one person that has overseen this massive decline yet seems safer than ever.
Strategic review they promised us , well that starts by cutting the head off the snake then working downwards.

They have very clear goals.

Sell up or change the boardroom.

To dictate who he sells to is quite the demand.
Why? Would you think they were acting in the best interests of Everton if they demanded the current board step aside for the Burnley owners, for example?

The Kenyon bid had dodgy written all over it.

The thing is mate... surely to goodness all Evertonians want the club to be so, so, so much better than it is and has been for far, far, far too long.

The ownership, BoD and the club executive management bear the responsibility to improve every area of the club, and they haven't done.

When Farhad Moshiri first arrived, we all thought that the 'punching above our weight' days were over as he promised funding to strengthen.

He did and has continued to finance things and we've gone backwards - surely this proves abject mismanagement and that's what the #27 Years Campaign is trying to get him to act upon... and if he continues to support the current BoD and won't affect the clear and obvious changes required, then it's time he sold up and allowed someone else to do what he won't.

And before anyone says things like 'Better the devil you know than the devil you don't' or 'be careful what you wish for' - there were at least two or three, seriously interested parties other than the Peter Kenyon-led group to the recent takeover situation that would never have gained any ground had Moshiri not encouraged it... him saying last week that there is no 'For Sale' sign on the club was laughable.
Interesting. Do you have a source for that? The most I ever saw on that topic was hearsay from twitter accounts and the like....

I find the idea that some fans know what's going on at the highest level ie things only FM would know, to be pretty laughable myself.

Assume The Esk is still playing his role as George Soros, miles away, trying to be the face of things
Yes, he's involved with the campaign but, what on earth has his location got to do with anything ???

...and that's too blunt a message to be weilding.

Demand things that can be met. Achievable things that if aren;t met are utterly damning for the board. Chip away from the outside toward the centre.

Simply telling Moshiri to swing it is unrealistic.

The messaging from the 27 lot is naive and probably harmful to their overall objective.

If selling the club isnt in the clubs best interests, then why sell the club?

So instead of :

The Act ultimately is either replacing the board and executive team (including Chairman) or allowing new owners to purchase the club.

You want it to read :

The Act ultimately is either replacing the board and executive team (including Chairman) or allowing new owners to purchase the club, as long as those owners arent American.

?????????????

No mate, I honestly do not.
I honestly fail to see what his location has to do with anything.

Alright, so he wants to be the face of things - demanding meetings with Moshiri on Twitter, organising secret protests and the likes - but wasn't there when the lot of us tried to take a stand against Arsenal and got laughed at by thousands of others

Support the idea of protests, but wrong people leading it. That's all I'll say.

No, it's simple: the demand is to sell up to people who can progress the club.

Imagine wanting Moshiri out but tolerating the thought of vampires like Thornton and Kaminski coming in to ravage the club.

That just leads to loss of credibility.

Demanding he only sells to certain people leads to loss of credibility.

You either want him gone or you dont.

You want your cake and you want him to feed you it.
