6 + 2 Point Deductions

Can’t see us having any problems PSR wise for the current year given the reduction in squad costs over the last 12 months relative to prior two seasons. May also explain why a decision to fire Dyche has been left until post Jan 1st and his and his teams compensation cost.
The accounts run from July to June, so severance payments would hit the 24/25 accounts either way. So they can freely sack away. 🤞. The worry is they want “stability”, as Dyche keeps saying 18 times each presser.

The only discussion worth having is how to avoid relegation which is now perilously near. All this garbage about another points deduction is ridiculous, but amuses some to pretend we are in danger of it. We are certainly in danger if we can't win football matches.
Think you’ll find we are right on the line.

The club think we should be ok, it depends how certain figures are interpreted by the PL.

As it stands we won’t be spending much in January unless people can be moved on.

Premier League clubs are required to submit their latest financial figures by the end of business on New Year's Eve, with four clubs nervously waiting to see if they have met profit and sustainability rules.

Chelsea and Nottingham Forest - who are chasing the Champions League and could even compete for the title - and Everton and Leicester, both facing relegation threats, could all potentially face points deductions if they are found to have recorded losses exceeding the league's maximum permitted £105m.

I'm pretty sure this applies to all clubs, not just the four listed?

Yeah we’re just the four rumoured to be closest.

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we breach, it’s the OpEx loans that are in contention.

I'd assume the club would treat the interest just as they did last year, which the league/board punted on.

If we breach a third time, Moshiri should dunked in the river.

I think it’s open to interpretation which is the issue.

We tried to blag it on the balance sheet by all accounts last time.

The amount of effectively ‘payday’ loans we had, I think it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if we do breach again in all that mess.

The PL are an absolute bunch of chancers aren’t they? They make all of this up on the spot in some strange misguided attempt at justice even though they know they have to keep their current model going to support the big teams who effectively finance and then de facto run the league.

They have no consistency, no form of vision and seem to have put themselves in the position where they have to make out they’re doing something but also know they can’t really do anything.

I think some independent and judicial authority needs to look into the FA, PL and the individuals who run them.

Yeah it does but the media and Co would like to keep pushing the narrative it's only Everton and the few it affects, people on here keep pushing the we might fail psr rumours etc but they are just wimpy crying children who just moan. We won't have any issues I'm certain. Can't wait to see how Utd and City squirm there way out of psr/charges and hopefully a few more along the way get a taste of this rediculous medicine

Seems Leicester may have breached it again and will find out next week. Hopefully our incredibly harsh precedent leads to a point deduction for them soon.
Honestly don’t want Leicester to get any deductions even if it would be advantageous. It is so boring with the back and forward with the decisions and appeals

Everything is uncertain and those little axterix on the league table are annoying
