6 + 2 Point Deductions

I disagree - its a breach of PSR by less than £20 million, and has attracted almost the upper end of the scale of points deduction (10 out of a maximum 12) despite extensive cooperation and them looking over the books.

The verdict might not be overturned but the deduction could (should) be reduced, simply because it (if left in place) leaves clubs thinking of breaching PSR a precedent that you may as well absolutely cane it and obstruct the process because you'll only get an extra two points if they find you guilty.

I thought that myself initially but then when you're faced with a point per £5m overspend. Though this also shows they rounded up to get that final point off us.

All together now ... The Premier League is F'in sh*te
No chance City get anywhere near what we have had. Same as Newcastle, it'll be a political decision not a sporting one.

The UK government has admitted its embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in London have discussed the charges levelled at Manchester City by the Premier League, but are refusing to disclose the correspondence because it could risk the UK’s relationship with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Very true and for those who dont believe such political interferences happen have a read up of the Post Office scandal and the pressure bought to bear on the UK Govt by the Japanese embassador representing Jujitsu and their sh*te Horizon system that put so many post office staff behind bars

We were on track for 45 points, minus 10 almost certainly means we'll be fighting to the end now though.

I disagree though, Dave. People were exhausted last year, but we found a way to stay together. This year, it's come early, with much more chance of saving ourselves, in a completely ridiculous, disproportionate and unfair manor - which often works for us on any given match day at Goodison over the years.

The flip side though is how galvanised will the teams around us be?
No mate. Beyond a few weeks, if we're in a sticky patch again then the fans will turn not on the PL but the club. This will inevitably happen as our players begin to reach for excuse in games that get away from us.

I always thought and said 6 points would relegate us...10 points seals it.

You must feel vindicated even if not happy today

You've had Moshiris number from Day 1.

For a period you were a lone voice and now everyone knows that you were right and he will go down in history as the man who destroyed Everton.

I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily true, for the first couple of years I was happy to go along with our mad spending, thinking that surely he wasn’t a complete buffoon that didn’t know what he’s doing. However the appointment of Allardyce was the first alarm bell, and the appointment of Benitez fully tipped me over the edge. He will go down as the worst thing to ever happen to the football club.

We cant cope with that deduction.

Not at all.

A 48-50 point season is needed and we're still off that rate with DCL and Tarkowski being fit.

A key injury is all this takes now to relegate us.

Make no mistake that decision today relegated us.

All the bravado of "we can easily get clear" is BS. We cant.
Look at the betting exchanges Dave. There are three teams odds on to get relegated whilst we are almost 3/1.

Not like you to be hysterical, much.
