6 + 2 Point Deductions

Ah yes, the 'rules', that they have just made up, all of a sudden, despite saying that Everton were compliant, and punishments which were completely made up, on the spot, out of thin air, that only apply to Everton and nobody else. Those 'rules'.
You are talking complete biscuits mate.

The rules are quite clear.

The punishment was certainly made up and that should and will form the basis of our appeal.

Ornstein said he had been told we wouldnt breach, who told him? Everton probably.

Its a concern that somebody says it after the accounts have been submitted.

@Connor the Zeigeler fella, is he legit?
Saying it after a certain date, for a Club that has bad accounts, is probably one of the easier things to say, that's just my thinking

That would be Brennan Johnson they sold this Summer, the accounts they would be charged on will be for 2022, not 2023.

I assume.
Johnson signed for Spurs on the 1st of September so will actually fall in the 2023 accounts not the 2022, this is obviously the issue... Levy lowballing causing FFP breaches all over the place!

This could be true, and could be the reason why we aren't spending in recent windows.

But if it's on loans relating to stadium construction, then I'm not sure if it should be part of the profit sustainability calculations
I think our biggest problem is that we got loans and didnt state they were for the Stadium.

So in that case it cant be used for the Stadium.

We made an accounting error.

If only we knew an accountant.

The Premier League brand is going to be ruined if this becomes an annual points deduction festival. It is an absolute farce that you can spectacularly break the rules/ cover things up like City and Chelsea, and the case drags on for years, whereas other clubs (like us) are charged and punished within months. It's a totally broken system.
