We are playing Liverpool on Wednesday night and Arsenal at lunch time on Saturday.
I wonder if we should take similar stance especially with such a small squad which is doing nothing else but help the so call top 6 in the country.

I love the way the club are standing up so the players get their rest, which is so important

Ancelotti complained about the congested calendar on Friday -- blaming "television rights and money" and saying "the last thing on anyone's mind is the players' recovery."

But come the summer and FIFA Club World cup where there`s millions in cash available for the club during what would be players holidays after a long season its a case of we`re off to the USA $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Why don't they just protest by playing the match but basically just sitting on the pitch for the full 90 ?

Liverpool have an extra 24 hours rest between playing us and playing again on Sunday against Fulham. We are the one impacted here. I would love moyes to mention it during the press conference. Cant really remember liverpool having to play again less than 72 hours after a match...might be wrong.

I think the last owner was, but I suspect as time goes on the new ownership and board will not be. Once we feel free of any PSR or legal threat I suspect they will be much more in the PLs face about anything that happens.

Both teams just sitting on the grass for the full 90 minutes, then, VAR give Liverpool a 91st minute pen for grass-burns or something.
