The important thing now is we have a new home but we must have a change of culture and leadership to really take the club forward along with it.

It’s no good having a new stadium if it’s going to be an endless cycle of failure and more calls for “stability “. We must be one of the most monotonous clubs in football and that needs to change.

Ehh. There are people out there better than 777. I wouldn't call them "quality investors," whatever that means. But Warren Buffett ain't walking through that door.

We're looking at someone with ties to the club or someone who has experience and believes in a turnaround of the club.

Never forget that the esk - a football fan - thought he was going to get strong-arm Farhad moshiri - the owner of Everton football club - into meeting with him and cried all over twitter when he got, quite rightly, blanked.

In fairness FSG bought Liverpool when they were on the brink of administration because they were cheaper. The value difference is huge, ‘quality investors’ are not going to ignore getting an asset 10s of millions pound cheaper if they wait until it’s in a distressed moment. FSG got Liverpool for absolute buttons.

The larger point though is that no one on twitter knows anything about what’s going on.
