Totally absurd if Moshiri and the club maintain these are the right owners to take over while having to devote their own time and resources to find the money for them to do so.

If they don’t have the money and can’t even arrange the money for themselves what even are they? Any one of us on here could take over the club if the club would just arrange the money for us.

Doesn't bode well when a club in need money, is giving its precious resources to potential new owners to help them find money to buy the club.

Bananas.

Peak Everton.

BBC Sport has been told this is "standard practice contingency planning" and the process may identify other potential lenders to 777.

Sources close to British-Iranian businessman Moshiri have told BBC Sport they remain "working on completing the deal with 777".

lol lol

Ah yes because the 222 days it's taken so far just hasn't been long enough.

I don’t understand why 777 even need to be part of it, but then I’m not sure we have the full picture. But if the club are (again) arranging loans or investment why is it not being arranged for the club directly, why is it for 777, who aren’t the club, to buy the club? Like I say if 777 don’t have the money what is their purpose?

Very simply, because Moshiri is the club, hes running the club for himself and 777 is his best way of getting 69mill and never having to worry about Everton again and the required cash calls. Hes using the club for his own end - which actually as a director is a massive conflict of interest as you alluded to and all that means.......

He cares not a jot for Everton's wellbeing, beyond how quickly he can 69 mill out of the club.

Who is Shamoon Hafez and is he reliable? Or just regurgitating rumours he has seen in other articles?

All these tweets and articles are nearly all baseless. No one ever has any sources etc.
Makes a complete mess of his usually inane questions in pressers. Used to clearly annoy Dyche. His first Everton coverage was a horrendous listen. Think he once used 2 of his 3 questions to ask Dyche what he thought about something Liverpool had done. Didn’t get the message after the first question that he was on thin ice.

But, has popped up recently with some fairly concise summaries of our ownership situation. Looks like he does now have a source. Not seen any real Mail-style clickbaity fluff pieces.

I would take the statement about there being no other involved parties as being true tbh. Thats the only bit that matters in this article. The rest we knew already.

Isn’t this what the Bloomberg article {which I broke exclusively on here last night by the way } is saying , why would Everton need to find doe for these shouldn’t it be the other way round
It's totally absurd. Even if Deloitte / Everton put together an amazing presentation about why third parties should invest in the club, why would they do it in partnership with 777? Because the fact the club are having to do it at all would tell you you shouldn't.

But I was promised alternative bidders

This has got to be something like Usmanov funding them. It makes literally 0 sense to put all our @Eggs in one basket when they can't show, to anyone, that they have the funding to actually own a Premier League team. And now Moshiri wants to have a 3rd party fund 777 to make it work? None of this makes any sense.
