Was watching highlights of yesterdays games earlier on.
Mrs pops her head in and says she's just had a message from Tesco re this afternoons delivery.
"No kitchen roll in stock" it said, and confirmed order was now paid for.
No issue, we'll nip out for some as we are near the end of the last roll now.
20 minutes later I heard a bit of an angry shout.
Mrs had got another email from Tesco saying order was now cancelled, again no probs, we'll go out for the shopping like we more often than not do anyway.
Reading down the email it then says our £142 will be paid back in to our account...........in 3 to 5 working days WTF.
OK again not an issue but a bit angry they snatch the money 20 minutes earlier then cancel.
My/our anger is regarding people where £142, or probably more in a lot of cases is money they simply need to get the shopping in this week. How do they get on when money is possibly not going to be repaid to their accounts before Friday, Tescos words not mine.
If they can snatch the money in 5 seconds why don't they fire it back instantly to your account when they can't honour it?
I think it's bad practice anyway. Mini rant over
Swerve in future I reckon, glad we only buy the bare basics from them.
