following an example set by a certain british government of current times, the oficial everton spokespeople have announced AJ needs surgery on a left ankle problem that has been troubling him for months.

it never rains but it pours.

[Poor language removed].

This is really crappy news. I guess Moyes is counting on Vaughn stepping up and fulfilling his potential.

it appears AJ could soldier on as he has, it IMO explains why he has been off the pace and not amongst the goals as he was.

vaughan needs a few games to get sharp, sadly we only have a couple of games left.

events have really conspired against us in recent months, what a god damn shame.

Wait, according to the OS, he is having the operation right after the final game of the season. Even in a reduced capacity, he is proving more of a threat that BT, and should allow our midfield more space to play in.

Although, I think it is tactically inept to let the world know he is off the pace, maybe Pompey will mark him just a bit closer, knowing he won't have the explosive burst of acceleration.

professionals know professional injuries, this is double bluff to me, let the refs know so when he gets hit like he did at west ham they put the two together.

i dont like risking a players fitness and long term capacity to use their body to its fullest just to get a game or two out of them.

walter smith sweet talked ball into crazy knee injections to 'save the club from relegation'

dark days, darker than any i know of at any other club in the world (besides the corrupt italian half wits)

They could amputate his leg at the knee and he'd still be more of a threat than Beattie...

tbh when vaughan and anichebe play i always have hope, both of them support everton and both of them would run as far as possible for the club. Also look at their skills...vaughan has the pace, anichebe has the strengght, and we know they can both finish (in particular...anichebe vs luton + fulham, and vaughan vs bolton +fulham)

as long as they play im happy
