Player Valuation: £40m
What are your thoughts on this young Arsenal kid?

He does look a class piece of kit.

Can't say I've gotten this delighted with a young player since ' arr Wayne ' was a spotty teen.

Certainly looks a prospect.

Jack Wilshire looks something else.

I've got to hold my hands up and say I've been getting confused with the 2.

Didn't I say I wasn't with it tonight?

Tonight though, Ramsey looked superb to his credit, but yes, Wiltshire was in the back of my mind.

They'll be some team very soon.

Around the same level as Jack Rodwell - so yes, a big talent. Like Jack he's still learning though, he's had good games and bad games this season.

He's a completely different player to Wayne, closer to Cesc Fabregas in terms of style - a passing centre midfielder.

Rooney had a great mix of physical and technical attributes, in terms of pace and power he was on a different level to the likes of Wilshere and Ramsey.

Havent seen enough of either to judge really, but from what I have seen they look like talented boys. As TxB says, I really dont see the Rooney connection, the boy was a special, special talent. Theres not many Wayne Rooneys in the world. Not many at all.

The Rooney connection is more one of a very talented young lad coming through as opposed to position or style.

At Ramseys age Rooney was ripping the whole of Europe apart in Euro 2004. Its unfair to compare anybody to Rooney really. He was a one off.

There are plenty of fans quick to compare Rodders here.

I don't think Wiltshire for example is any worse a player than a young Roo to be fair m8. He is only 17 too, and has already got more experience than Rooney at the same age.

I can't be arsed looking back through all the archives, but Neiler, monty, a few others and myself were raging over ramsey, aroung 2 and a half years ago. ish

We so fecking nearly had him as well.
