No mate. I thought 50 was too much. I have since said it turned out to be cheap.Didnt you scoff at the club signing Richarlison ?
The vaults arnt kind to you my friend .No mate. I thought 50 was too much. I have since said it turned out to be cheap.
He seems a pure plaster signing, Sign him stick him in midfield let him do a decent job for 1-3 seasons until we get our wages/dead wood out the door and back on track to start making more low fee high reward signings or bigger talents when we have a bit more dosh to spend.
Feels like we can't have any more Kean signings where they're allowed time to get to grips with the league because the squad is so hollow so we get people like Doucoure and Arias who can stop the bleeding for a little.
Both, if you believe the rags.Wasnt that Allan ?
getting Doucoure and Allan in midfield instead of Davies and Sigurdsson is like going from a Fiat Panda to a Nissan GT-R
There seems to be a massive misconception about how much ball winning Doucoure actually does.Back to The Dogs of War.
When players show what they’ve got and are tipped for bigger things, they move. He didn’t move.
I don’t think he’s all that, I don’t think he’s hungry to prove anything now and I don’t think he’d be a good signing.
He's a decent player, but I just can't help but feel this has a Sigurdsson/Schneiderlin/Bolasie signing written all over it.
Player moves to us in his late 20's, on high wages, whose value will only decrease should we decide to sell. If he's a success then arguably we're only getting a balanced return on the investment we put into him, if he's mediocre / a flop then it'll be even more money flushed down the Finch Farm loo.
Whatever happened to Brand's strategy to focus on promising youth.
