As you may have noticed, I do not post as much as I used to.

Maybe I am being too awkward, or maybe too tetchy.

But I have noticed the influx of utter idiots that are raising too many pointless threads, and too many echo and shadow threads(basically same topics under different thread titles).


I offer myself as a potential admin to the cause(maybe in the "Bad Cop" role)

I want GOT to go back to what it was and not a haven for idiots.

Happens mate, being the boring no life that I am I've seen plenty of lids come and go.

I miss the retro crew, loads, but we have picked up some quite super cats on the way so it all balances out.

You should post more mate, I miss you.

Nothing ever stays the same. If we want this forum to be a success, we have to accept all sorts of people. We cannot just have those who are totally serious at all times. If we do that, then those here for fun and discussion will want to leave. This forum is a serious AND light-hearted place,and it is richer for that IMO.

'utter idiots ' obviously pointed at me .. after the post, harsh? im 16 .. been brought up to hate liverpool as much as i can
won nothing.. that i can remember since ive been old enough to watch/go games, .. going on the 'rooney topic i know.
but then you get him wanting liverpool to win , i can understand the title but as evertonian NO.. AND , then to get called
an utter idiot , and even then to think im harsh for saying.. dont agree.

This was a great quote I put in the memory bank for instances such as this. Typically, I've forgot it.

It's core message was, the past is always recalled more fondly that what it actually was.

And it's true.

In my opinion, the forums have never been better. I've admitted in the past when it was lousy, but certaintly not recently/at the moment.

Link them then here, or better yet - report them.

It's not just our job to maintain this community. It's everyones. There needs to be a collective resistance to anything seen as detrimental to the forum.

Probably doesn't help that the season is kinda petering out. Not much chance of Europe, no stadium to get het up about, no real transfer dealings to get excited about (think much of our work is done already). We're getting a bit boring :lol:
