Pretty sure a lot of people have seen it now.

Was interested to hear what people's thoughts are from it?

For me it was what I already knew, had a few family members who gave up teaching due to the lack of control the current younger generation, the virus that is social media has caused so much damage to everyone even if you don't know it.

I don't agree with the government showing it in schools but there's definitely an issue with people raising their children.

There is a rampart sense of entitlement running through social media. GOT is a working class forum, be we born in Armagh or Aigburth. If you can graft then do it and pass on the ethic to your kids. If you can’t graft then our moral duty is to support you, but keep the work ethic strong.

This social media sense of entitlement to the bling life is probably a debate lost already.

I thought it was well acted and the ending is pretty sad. Social media is a narcissistic cesspit and what’s worse people can earn a living from it by being sly arseholes manipulating people.

It’s very easy to tell people what they want to hear or what they feel at the time they want to hear. With so much money going around it is not going to stop.

If you look at X it’s rife with engagement grifters, the truth means nothing, just say what will bring in that income. It’s inevitable kids see this stuff and for some it will have an impression on them.

It’s a relief when someone says it as it is, calls out the bigots, the misogynists, the misandrists, the racists , the truth no matter what.

Children are growing up in this environment and if they are getting little to no guidance and just left to their own devices then it’s concerning what they could potentially turn into.

Mobile phones/apps/sociel media has changed things forever and im not sure it’s for the best.

I agree with a lot with what you've said, but I'm on the strong side that a lot of it is due to the parenting in this case.

Not the racism and grifting side.

I was born in the 90's and classed as a millennial, I'm now happily married and have a very young son.

The other day we where getting off the train and had lads with girls smoking at the station in there late teens throwing their empty bottles and whatever at the shelters, I just said why are you doing that and some got a gob on until one of them decided to pick it all up and apologise.

It's hard to understand why at times this has happened. It's easy to blame scum like Andrew Tate but I think it's much more of a socio economic issue than that.

Decent article and not much to disagree with considering it was The Spectator. I donknow how old you are but quite a few years ago we had a reporter/agony Aut called Mary Whitehouse. She campaigned tirelessly about the damage video games were doing to kids and the open availability of X rated films on video to kids. Whilst the majority of kids in school are courteous and well mannered, I wouldn't want to be a teacher in one. I agree also, lazy parenting is another major factor
