Advice for making a trek to Ireland and then to Goodison for the Brentford match

Hi I hail from the states I've written in the depression thread previously about suffering seizures which have hindered by quality of life, despite continuing to encounter those episodes I was able to obtain a job in social services, I facilitate services for intellectually disabled individuals and been able to achieve stability by getting the desperately needed meds to suppress my seizures. So with me actually making some funds I'd like to embark on an excursion to somewhere in Ireland for a couple days then fly into either liverpool or Manchester then attend the Brentford game in march if possible. To have the opportunity to actually experience an everton game would be truly memorable and glorious as I've always just watched the games on tv, to be on such hollowed grounds regardless of the result would just bliss inducing scenario. So my question is what advice can you offer me to make my aspiration a reality?
I've saved up $1500 with the plan to accrue $4000. What flights or accommodations should I investigate? Also where would I be able to procure a ticket for the match it would just be me. Right now the plan is just in the incubation stage.

A few quick things that I remember; others might have different advice.

-Flights from USA to Ireland are usually cheapest on Air Lingus or Iceland Air to Dublin, if I recall, but obviously check prices.
-Boston (notorious Irish base) has a flight to Dublin on Air Lingus that is usually cheapest so perhaps do a plane to Boston from where you live (assuming it's not Boston), then onto Dublin.
-I don't know where you are going in Ireland but AirBnB would be my way to go.
-You can get flights on Ryan Air from Dublin to Liverpool (about 45 minute trip); they are cheap (like literally 40$ one way, if you buy way in advance) and you get what you pay for (which means drunk idiots, stoically silent old people, and quick-wipe vomit-proof menus that offer crappy food and drink).
-As for Everton tickets, you should join the USA version of Everton's "Official Membership" which will give you a few days advance access to ticket sales. You can order tickets direct from Everton FC website online the day (early early morning in the US) they go on sale. You can also just do an old fashion phone call to the ticket office on the day tickets go on sale; the folks there are adorably nice in the best possible way. If it's just you, this will make seating options much easier.
-As to staying in Liverpool, you can do AirBnB or google "short-term apartments Liverpool" and you can find some nice places. I've stayed in very cheap and nice one-room Air BnBs about outside of Liverpool center (about a 10 minute walk into town center), short-term apartments right downtown (on Duke st), and in long-term apartments at the University of Liverpool.

One of my mates, runs a B&B - self contained rooms, in the outbuildings of his barn conversion, in a place called Hale.

The rooms are lovely, very reasonably priced and as a fellow blue, he’ll look after you mate, with things like lifts etc.
