Just catching up on things here... We got our third in extra time, our fans invaded the pitch, and the Ref added miore time as a result. Does that sum it up? What was the initial amount of extra time?

90+5mins minimum added on

we scored at 94:44 the fans coming on may not have helped our cause

our sit back in the 2nd half and 'save it' for the League cup attitude didn't help any either.

That and Martinez being a bang average tippy tappy merchant.

yes there's no easy games but some are less hard
with all due respect it's Bournemouth ffs not Barca

Ok, thanks Degsy. Any idea how long it took to clear the pitch? In theory, there was 16 seconds remaining but I'm curious as to what caused the Ref to add another 3 minutes.

I know it's water under the bridge, but I hope the Muppets that ran on realise that they may have cost us. And I agree, an extra time winner against Bournemouth doesn't warrant such a reaction.

I like to read about us in the news here, but not like this.

this maybe true.
did he also do a better job at Wigan winning a 'pot' too.

Well no, but you said he'll lead us to the same lower single digit league positions as Moyes did, so if he does that but wins a trophy or two along the way then he's done a better job.

Third highest goal total in the league...defo bang average.

Friend has got a lot to answer for.

You do not add time to added time. U just stop the watch when the ball is out or when there is time wasting.

If there was 15 seconds of the 5 mins left after we scored then the whistle should be blown 15 seconds after the restart.

If the logic of the pitch invasion is used to add time on. Imagine if the invasion lasted for 30 minutes would there be 30 mins more to add on. Of course not. Robbed.
Yes but there was also a substitute which alloud to add extra 30 secs

A bad day. They happen.

They do happen but it was no surprise that Bournemouth got back in the match and looked more likely to win it. Almost from the start of the second half, EFC conceded midfield, Galloway looked vulnerable and isolated and Lukaku looked a thousand miles from human contact.

I agree with the report in the Echo today that RM failed to manage that game. Del Boy and Barry especially looked spent as did to a lesser degree did Kone. And Barkley tried to do too much. Earlier subs were required.

Aye agreed on the earlier subs. It's worse when you can see it coming. They passed through our midfield too easy even with McCarthy still on the pitch in the second half.

Credit to Bournemouth though, very good comeback from them that. Deserved too.

We move on. These things are gonna happen with a young team. Hopefully will be a boot up the arse for the next set of games coming up.

When the dust settles; we should realise that we completely [Poor language removed] it up yet again.

Second half up with the most horrific of performances I've had the pleasure of staying up till 4am for. We looked like we were Burscough up against Bayern Munich.

Spit laden Industrial strength Hairdryers for everyone after that, please El Coco.

Kick up the butt we needed honestly.

Hopefully they don't get complacent when in form again, stay focused and we can beat anybody.

Let's see how the lads respond, 2 points dropped but it could have easily ended 2-2 anyway.
