ask yourself is the whole squad better or worse than it was 4 yrs ago.
if the answer is worse, who signed them

If the answer is better, who is holding them back then

Martinez will lead us, by a different route, to the same lower single digit finishes that Moyes did.

All this based on a win turned into a draw in the last seconds of an away game that that the ref failed to do his job in and the players failed to concentrate for the last few seconds.

Were you posing that question after we battered Sunderland and Villa? I doubt it.

Try to be consistent at least.

My main worry is the negative impact that losing the lead as we did yesterday will have on us for the rest of the season. Last season it happened to us at the start and we looked fragile and nervous at the back all season. Hopefully it won't happen again.
Exactly this.

To make up for losing 2 vital, winnable points against woeful opposition and Palace won't be easy. Team spirit will be low after that because it felt worse than a loss.
It didn't to me. The league table shows we earned another point and are on a 5 match unbeaten run.

Palace: we'll beat them. I'm more concerned about Boro away than Palace at home.

This is where Martinez needs to earn his money.

Danny Murphy made a good point on Match of the day. First half we were all over them like a rash and tried to beat them (and were succeeding). Second half we sat back as if asking were they good enough to get past.

They were. If Bournemouth were then it is safe to assume that everyone else is as well.

Don't try that again.......

No avoiding the swear filter please
Haven't been as pissed off after an away draw since Steve Sidwell's last minute equaliser at Craven Cottage. Having difficulty getting over this one, absolutely criminal loss of two points.

I can understand us sitting off them, hoping to catch them on the break, but it clearly wasn't happening for us..Kone was awful second half as was Barkley - Ross constantly getting caught out trying a 'trick'..Martinez just let it ride..

They had their 3rd choice keeper playing and we didn't test him at all - apart from Barkley's goal, which he managed to fook up.

Sickener. F O O K O F F E V E R T O N

Believed their own hype and stopped pressing high. They're young and these things happen.
I thought we'd won it and started thinking about my tea. Professional players should be more focused and they'll be reminded that you don't just turn up and win. Same starting eleven next week. They're looking good.

8 points off top despite a few iffy performances, real signs throughout the early part of the season that this team is growing & maturing together, injuries clearing, a transfer window where we may get stronger ...

We drew, away from home, in the Premier League.

The signs are good, very good. Let us continue our good work under the radar, come May I'm thinking we may be surprising a lot of people.
