.... I have finally got a quote for car insurance down to 1,937 a year (third party) - if I agree to have something fitted in the car which tells the insurance company if I drive between 11 and 5 in the morning - so in other words, cant drive between them hours. Oh, and I needed pass plus on top of that to be eligible for that.

The average I was being quoted was around 4,500 ish, with Barclays actually giving a quote of 7 grand .

Disgusting. Basically encouraging young lads to drive without insurance.

I blame all the Corsa drivers. Get this. I have moved from a street that was next to the biggest council estate in Europe, to one of the quietest villages in existance. It has Village Watch and a security guard within whispering distance - yet our insurance went up because of the post code.

Its bollocks.

Danny, get a bicycle. Saves money on petrol too, makes you fitter so you can go for longer in the sack. Everybody wins!

[Poor language removed] me!

How twisted is it, we live in a world whereby insurance companies dictate when we can drive the shops or how we live our lives.

I love the 7 grand barclays quote. You could just get taxis for the rest of your life and save some money. bastards.
