Al-leg-gory - If we are NOT Everton, then...

Extending from people who have been following 'Everton' for a long time and sharing their memories on here and my own motivations for following our Club, consider that we have had two years of NOT being Everton enough for a turn of performance on the field, then what do you believe is the best way to describe our ethos as a club right now?

You are welcome to point to any team playing today or a team from a particular season in the past. Who are Dyche and Thelwell currently managing?

As a 35 year old I’d say we’ve spent as much of my time following the team (from 96 I could understand the game properly) being crap like the last two seasons as being any good.
The nine hour round trip I enjoyed to watch us get beat by an awful Luton team without ever really looking like scoring in the second half was a very familiar feeling.

We don't have an ethos or identity. We are the museum that moshiri said we weren't going to be. Nothing more than some misty-eyed memories of a club that most evertonians can't remember.

So it is that if it is not Everton, it is then EVERTON. Really need a proper winner onboard then...

I was 'manufactured' within the last 15 years, but I doubt any new ones would follow us within the last couple of years. Obsolete in an ever-changing climate.

I'm not sure wishing for that 2nd 'Yo', aka, relegation won't cause more problems than you think it will solve...except to end all our angst by folding up the whole shooting match

I don't want to imagine beyond the Premier League, my Yo-Yo only lasts between 1-17 positions. Not worth thinking about relegation, if we do so, it is most likely the club management's fault. Under this context, I thought the second Yo, was a move up the league. But fair enough, nobody wants an Origami FC. lol
