Iwobi is not a box to box player though, never in a million years. Poster boy for box to box play was Slippy G, him and Iwobi are not even remotely similar as players.

Our conveyer belt of managers is sickening enough, but its the glaringly obvious things like wages that is the disease killing us internally.

Look at Maupay as an example, not in the first team anymore and coming towards the last year of his contract and we go and spend 15mil on him.
He's now on better wages and a happy man.

How many players in recent years not in the first team and heading towards end of contract have we been able to get that kind of money for. In fact forget the contract part, We just simply can't move players on for a price tag as nobody is willing to match our wages...
If it wasn't for places like Turkey we couldn't even get them out on loan..

It feels that bad I'm surprised it doesn't have its own thread with a timer counting down the days til players contracts run out...

A box to box player isn't an attacker. If they don't do anything out of possession they're not useful. An attacker never has that issue.

KDB stats were exceptional throughout his career post Chelsea. Iwobi's stats have been dreadful for his entire career.

Theres no link or comparison hence why it was an absolutely ridiculous statement.

That's part of the problem. He probably is amongst our best players (currently) which is why we are facing a relegation scrap. Generally, he runs about a lot more than he used to, but he doesn't create much and he's not a ball winner/defensive midfielder. We need better than him.

WTF are Gray, Gordon and McNeil doing. Be nice for Onana to get involved too. Christ. Imagine if Iwobi was still the old version of Iwobi. Pickford would probably be our leading chance creator. Given we can’t take chances, we need to create far far more. Feel a bit sick seeing that.
