That's how proper big teams with a good squad treat the LC.

Think we've treated it the same as all the big teams tbh, half and half. City had de bryune and sterling starting today, spurs and Chelsea had a few of their best attackers mixed with fringe players too.

One thing I have noticed with him is how he knows when to press a player and when to cover, its quite the talent, last season our players would have just sat back in shape, not Allan, he runs at them head down.

Though they may decide he can do an hour on Saturday and change it then no matter what like last midweek.

We should be able to manage one game, against Brighton, without him. Give the lad a couple of weeks in the hydrotherapy pool, play Doucoure, Gomes and Siggurdson against Brighton, snot the RS after the international break. Sorted.

I'd play Bernard.

I think Brighton's two-man midfield - assuming it's Lallana and Alzate - should be able to be got at but it needs some pace and guile in there.

It will probably be Gomes-Doucoure-Sigurdsson, but I'd love for it to be Bernard and give him a chance because I think he'll be chomping at the bit, and Sigurdsson I think is far better coming on when the pace of the game has slowed.
