Namdrater

Player Valuation: £15m
Now that the Fernandes deal has been blown away and the site has claimed they're still fishing for some additions to the squad, I think this could be a very exciting week, whether or not we make some audacious bids, I'm excited to see who we will add to our ranks before midnight 31 august!

I think we should seal the Vogel move just for covering in our midfield. Yakubu is basically done and dusted. I think one more addition to the midfield would be required. As I've said in many topics, a skillful, creative midfielder.

Before we went for Fernandes, we made a bid for Lucho Gonzalez, which means the creative midfielder is probably in the mind of Moyes and I hope he pulls one through. Interested to see who we will be linked with tomorrow morning.

I'd go for D'Alessandro from Zaragoza even though he just signed a new deal with them. He's always been a favorite of mine.

It's fun to see names flying around just to get my imagination running wild. I like it, especially when we have 12 millions to spend and I'm sure we'll see a lot of exotic species being link with us tomorrow.

Just like watching porn with anticipation.

Bids i would die too see (even if we didnt get them) would be: downing, moutinho, adriano, VDV, adriano (sevilla), matty taylor, steven taylor, michael Owen.

Bid for anyone of them and im happy :)

chances of bidding fro one of them probably 300/1 excluding downing

I can't believe someone said Michael "NHS" Owen. If where so desperate to take care of crippled little people why don't we just put the money to good use and just donate the 100k/week to a childern's hospital.

I read a rumor that Portsmouth offered Taylor and Nugent for Anelka. So maybe Taylor can be had.

This is the reason I was wishing we could have gotten Demarcus Beasley on the cheap to supply depth. He played well for Man City and supposedly playing well for Rangers in the MLS (Major League Scotland football) He's excatly what we needed, a player with pace whos adept at swingin in low level crosses for our 4'6" strikers.

Of the players that we could resonably afford Steven Hunt of Reading would be the player I'd most like to see in an Everton jersey. He's physical, fearless, always in your face, never quits and even when he's not playing he's pretty adept and injuring and ruining a Big 4 teams season.

The only thing i worry about now is what we seemed to keep hiden so well ..... everyone knows how much we've got to spend ! so you can dream on if you think we'll get anyone like Nolan for £5m. I'd say more like 8 or 9 million purely because everyone knows we've got at least £12m to spend ..... apparently :dodgy:

The Everton statement refers to THE extra addition to the squad thus implying one player, now is that Yak on his todd or plus A N Other. Mention of Nolan is only via the rumour mill nothing official. Looks like another nailbiter to the close on Friday.

I just hope we won't get a few "hasbeen" or "neverwillbe" in the last minutes just to fill up the numbers.

Don't think we will see many huge signings though, perhaps some loandeals with options to buy next summer.

So we are link with non today. As much as I wanted to read that we're in for some exciting names, half of me would like to see the club keep everything under wrap until the deal is done. Few anxious days ahead!
