Hi all,
Shaughn here -- I'm new to the forums but not new as a fan (though the way this year has gone it'd be a wonder why anyone would choose our team). My backstory:
Where about are you from?: Minnesota, USA
How did you find these forums?: Link on Reddit Everton board
How did you become an Evertonian?: My grandfather spent ~2 years in the US Air Force. He was stationed in Liverpool and my grandparents lived with a family that eventually moved to Wales. He wasn't a sports fan, so I don't know if he had a dog in the fight. About 10 years ago I felt called to follow a team. I couldn't choose the red team across town because my university's chief rival has red uniforms, and Everton seemed like an up-and-coming club at that time.
Your all-time favourite Everton player?: Hard to argue with Captain America, but Inchy is the manager of our team here in Minnesota and he's done a good job starting from nothing 5 years ago.
Your current favourite player?: DCL
Pineapple on Pizza, Is it socially acceptable? What are your views?: It's acceptable, just not very good.
I'm planning a trip to a few places over the pond, including London, in April (I can't convince them to go further north!). I'd love it if my 3 mates and I could sit in the Everton section for the West Ham game on the 2nd.
