Tottenham, Middlesbrough and Sunderland are other teams the newspaper claim are interested in signing the 26-year-old.

To be honest, with the strikers we already have and if the deals with jagielka and fernandes get finalised, will we actually need him? Granted he is a quality player, but is he a benefit or an expensive luxury?
 
I would take Smith. I think that when he has played in his new SAF molded role, he has been quite good!
