Anthony Gordon

Just seen he was banned from driving then caught driving after his ban. Tells you absolutely everything you need to know about the lad, for those ITK his family can’t keep their mouths shut about the failed move to derrr mighty reds and how it will eventually happen.
I used to work with some of his family members when i was about 18-19 and he must of been 10-11 worth 'our antny' at Everton.

Not bad people to be fair, i can see why they would open there mouths a lot though. All mad as a bunch of frogs and up to all sorts (nudge nudge, wink, wink), but at that age, a great laugh!

To be fair i thought we got a good amount off the deal after he downed tools and didnt do much for 6/12 months.

He suts the way they play (when they are on form) down to the ground though, when his heads right and he's not looking to manufacter his next 'dream move' he's an excellent footballer.

Think everryone won in the transfer, we got a good fee (hopefully a % sell on too), Gordon got a move to a better side (league position and stability), and Newcastle got a good footballer
We chased him out the club, he wanted to leave - we both got what we wanted and I’d prefer if we stopped chatting about the lad to be honest. He’s history and we may be less of a team without him but that’s on the club and some of the fans.

I don’t know them personally but I suspect we know the the same people who can’t keep their mouths shut about how devastated he was not to get his move derr reds - they are dead proud of his achievements. As they should be really, he never wanted to stay here and got what he wanted.

I suspect they go back in for him if Salah leaves, a decent replacement and a probable astronomical fee that will sort the Newcastle PSR issue out and settle his recently signed massive contract.

They wanted Isak to sign up to a longer one but know Gordon is likely to leave sooner, I’ll be very surprised if Isak signs an extension.

Strange his loyalty to the red cause, especially since they threw him on the scrapheap when he was a youngster and that nasty Everton took him on and resurrected his career when he was an 11 year old.

It is quite eye opening how crap football is now. A club owned by a state can’t even hang onto good but not world class players because they’re not owned by the right gulf state. Why even bother at this point.

They sold the new stadium, trading ground and other infrastructure projects to their new players.

Now of course its clear none of those will take place while any new signings are at the club.

So the players will be looking at their next moves.
