Barely, it was the local village team near his carp fishery. I think it was 2 games he turned out for in something like the 10th tier.

He was over a couple of weeks back, there's some photos of him in the Denbigh Castle.

….but he scored an absolute screamer at Gigg Lane, Bury in the FA Youth Cup. I must have been one one of the few Evertonians to witness a true thunderbolt of a shot.
