thats the game, a couple of injuries and we are [Poor language removed].
we have to bank on few injuries or my personal favourite, buy two big names and sign a couple of frees, or find a little extra cash to sign cover like senna at villareal, a chance on cook from qpr, a free like ball, cover like billy davies from crewe.
i believe the wages are there to be cut into, i wonder if bonus's will be worked into contracts from now on ie.. top 10 = 100k each top 6 = 300k each top 4 = 500k champions = 800k.

the reserves played the fewest games yet this season, yet bitter benny, whining wenger, and joker jose have all gone on record in support of setting up a second team to play in the lower leagues.
if player fitness was paramount to them, they would be pushing for a full season of reserve games - the angle is, that reserve games dont get crowds and much media attention - that is why the so called top clubs want two sides in the football league.

It's not so much the number of games as the competitive nature of reserve team football (or rather the lack of). This is why the top clubs loan out as many young players as they can, to get quality competitive football. It's unlikely that when a player reaches 18 that he'll learn many new things technically so it's all about getting clued up about match play and to do that you need to play competitive matches.
Moyes has started to do that this season, with half a dozen players going out on loan and I would expect when the youth team gets greater quality and depth for that number to increase.
