If so what are you experiences with it ?

Im struggling to find out what the actual point of it is compared to just having a normal TV with a Sky subscription

Why can you not just buy it outright ? Why is it subscription based when the subscription doesn't even include any channels ?

It's a bit weird.

Sky trying to stay relevant with gimmicks. You get a below average TV, a below average Atmos sound system and the sky streaming system that you can get standalone anyway.

The golden rule is never by combi appliances.

Any good Suggestions ?
Don't you really need to know someone who knows someone with the whole IPTV concept.
I mean who are you actually giving your bank details too...

I use Firestick for stuff I can't get on Sky/Netflix/Prime but when you've spent out on a nice tv it can be annoying watching not great streams.

A lad my brother in law knows does mine. He charges more compared to others (£90 a year comparedv to others who do it for £40) but I’m not really bothered about the interface so long as it saves me a grand a year. No idea how you’d go about finding people who’d do it for you, my brother in law just happened to work with a fella that did it.

Had it a couple of years, every now and again the app you use goes down so you just download a new one but the server he used got shut down. I had 3 months left on the subscription so had to renew again for a full year but it’s worth it compared to paying Murdoch or Virgin 10 times the amount
 
I wouldn't bother with the Sky Glass, it's basically just a way to try and rope you in permanently.

One thing I will say tho , if you decide just to get the sky q box than make sure you check remember to ask for/ and check the hardware version in the settings so you get the best box, or they will just send you a standard one. and then you'll be stuck with it for 18months or whatever plan you have.
You want to make sure the hardware version number - gives you 4k UHD and HDR if you have that kind of tv.

My old man said he's now changed to sky stream though so which ever one benefits you.

Ask around someone will have a reliable contact then ditch your firestick purchase an android box and use a good VPN then you have a vista of all TV

Oh yeah saving all that cash to have basically every streaming system under one app including all sports you want is ridiculous.

But yeah it's always someone, someone knows...
 

Agree with the comments, its just another gimmick.

I got rid of Sky completely last October, its just not worth the money.

I'd consider NOW TV as an alternative but haven't felt any need for it, why get locked in to contracts when there is that?

I did spend $79 on MLS Season Pass in February and that has done me. I don't watch the PL anyway.

I've got Surfshark but amazon seem to have just got too clever for VPN's now.
I should of really bought an Android tv aswell so I could use it on there as the silly money I spent on TV you cant even put a vpn on it.
 
Proper jokers are sky.

That sky vip is the worst. Everything goes to a ballot. I’ve went in for about 16 different times to get tickets to watch St Johnstone play. Not a chance any other weirdo is trying to win that as a prize. I’ve never won anything. Rigged.
