Chris

a whole wheel of cheese?
I used to write loads of stuff when I was in my teens and twenties with a few mates from school/college/uni. Gave it up eons ago due to work and people moving around the world etc. Nothing major, just bit of rave/trance/house/metal anything goes really.

I'm currently off work for a week or two with a dodgy back and am not able to do much :(

So I started fiddling with a few music packages on my laptop and have ended up with something after about an hour. It's a bit of garbage trance (which is a genre funnily enough, I don't care much for). I'll post it up as I've got sod all else to do

Anyone got any tracks/songs they've written and want to post up? I won't criticise anyone but I do like hearing what other people have written.

At least I would attach it if I could upload a 1.6mb file :P

No I can't even sign up for putfile properly. I've failed. Anyone got anything they want to upload though?

I've written a few songs for my old band but we broke up before we had the chance to record them.

On a related note, whats a decent easy to use program for making music on a pc? And is their a program that you can put a pre recorded song into and it tells you what chords are used?

I wish I could mate but sadly Im the one who sits at the back and hits stuff :P Ive just left my Iron Maiden- esque rock band after 4 years, Ive mellowed down in my ancient 18 years of age! We were alright though, played infront of Steve Harris from Maiden ( with his daughters band) and got praise from Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath and recorded 4 CD's.

Heres me playing drums to The Police though :D

I've written a couple of songs in the past year or so as me and a mate were threatening to start a band :P

Never quite happened though so they're safely stowed away in my little note book for uni if I get involved in a band (y) If not, you will never here the musical prowess of Rodders. Shame eh

Also made a couple of things for music coursework when I took that but they were utter [Poor language removed].

Here's my music:

The demos are from when we were a 3-piece. We've since added a cracking electric guitarist to fill out our sound & are having our 1st practice tomorrow with the new lineup. Tracks marked 'solo demo' in brackets are songs I've recorded on my shitty €10 mic & free software, ready for expansion with the band.

We've lots of other songs too. The tracks uploaded are the ones we've been concentrating on for tomorrow's practice, though.

i play guitar and am the main writer in our band. we're called ajenda. check us at

:)

Written a few songs and got a load of unfinished stuff aswell. Had a little kick around in the early 90s without ever really getting it together in a serious band.
