Tough one IMO.

I would however take Appiah over Riquelme, due to his age, his allround game and because I believe that he has a better attitude than Riquelme.

On the other hand I would be over the moon if Riquelme is placed on the official site wearing the number 10 shirt.
 
Tough one but if reports are right, i'd prefer Riquelme on a loan deal. Appiah will cost upwards of 6m and he's also meant to be a bit injury prone.
 

I would go for Appiah- I think he suits what we need more. The reported accusations of Riqulemes attitude when things arent going his way put me off some what. Dont get me wrong a midfield of Riquelme, Arteta, Cahill, Pienaar, Jagielka does excite me but I think the beast that is Appiah would give the defence the security as well.
 

skysportsnews say everton are a team to watch today and both Appiah or Riquelme
they also said everton have told them anything could happen today

so dont rule out someone leaving me thinks
