Gwladys St. Glory

Some like it hot...
Thought it'd be interesting to know what other Blues out there collect as a hobby.

Me, it's pocket watches...there's just something about them. Maybe it's the irony in that they keep time and, in some cases, are well over 100 years old and still working. I currently have over 30 and I'm always on the hunt for more if the price is right (as with any antique, they can get pricy). Here's a few pics of my baby, even though they're not my pics...same watch though. This is the Waltham model 1908 and was made in 1926.

Pocket watches = too complicated.( i mean look at the dials on that one)

i collect food its tasty and cheap allthough i try not to over indulge.

That must be pretty good at parties, just pulling out a pocket watch when someone asks the time.

I'm starting to build an impressive collection of beer cans. Probs should get rid of them at some point

Really like the pocket watch OP, have several myself. Nothing as beautiful as that though.

I collect National Geographic Magazines, have about 15 feet of shelf space of them (about 450 in total). Mostly bought from charity shops and so on, a couple older ones bought as souvenirs from holidays.

I also have a collection of soccer jerseys. About 20 Everton jerseys, and another 15 or 20 international jerseys, from the countries I've travelled to/in. However this collection has lapsed since I became a student and trips had to become bargain basement!

I'm a numismatic.

I've got money from all over the world, most of it kindly donated from relatives better travelled than myself and most of it not in existence any more due to the evil €.

My favourite note is a 1 Nigerian Naira (a huge red note that I don't think is around anymore) that I found walking down a street in London with my grandad. I am also fond of a tiny little green note from somewhere in eastern europe (the person that gave it me wasn't sure as they travelled for 12 months and had forgotten).

I did collect trainers, but i gave most of them to charity recently. I also collect wooden carved masks. Always been fascinated by that type of thing.
