I like him. A lot.

He was the most decent thing to happen to British football for a hundred years.

His Arsenal team was brilliant. If only we could be that good.

gone past his shelf life, but a top manager, arsenal were basically a London leeds before he took over, hasn't just built a team but has built a stadium, scouting network and secured a future at the top table, most important man at the club since herbert chapman, it's a proper legacy that he won't get full credit for it, while the press fawn over fraudiola as he goes from the richest club in each league for a few seasons

You're right. When I lived in London I used to follow the Chels because I lived in Brixton on the tube but the hardest side ever to play was the Arse. They were heavy bazzas. Very tough defenders, smart midfielders and deadly strikers like Henry or Wrighty.

His league titles dried up around the same time as they moved into the emirates. Which as we know meant 10 years of the purse strings being tightened to pay for the stadium . And all kroenke cared about was champions league qualification which he got every year during that time with a few FA cups thrown in . Also this happened while they downgraded on players when Henry , bergkamp , pires and Campbell left they were replaced with poorer options by a board who weren’t arsed about winning titles

Some of his signings though early on
Veiera £3.5m
Anelka £500 grand
toure £250 grand
Ljungberg £3.5m
Henry £11m and converting him from a winger to a striker .

Fabregas for buttons

Campbell on a Bosman was the best trolling of the enemy signing in history after figo to Madrid

The one thing I will say is his success had solid foundations built on George Graham’s defence and goalie in seaman.

The 97/98 team was possibly my 3rd favourite English team I’ve seen after Utd ‘s treble team in 99 and the 93/94 cantona team .

Though I should have Arsenal’s invincibles up there I prefer the other 3 sides

The midfield of overmars vieira petit and parlour was a machine .

One of the biggest hypocrites in football and he looks like an old lesbian. He's also completely ruined his own legacy
He used to be to an innovative swashbuckling coach and now he's a bitter, stubborn, old has-been.
I despise his hypocrisy and the childish, bitter spitefullness that has come to the surface in the last few years.
I hope his anus starts itching and never stops.

And our hearts will be forever George Grahams because of that great night at Anfield

I also love it because his continued presence inspires some utter whoppers to routinely embarrass themselves on ArsenalTV.

I'd agree the 98 team was better, it was a short lived partnership, but the petit/viera combo beasted everything before it, I think Gary Neville said something about the 98 version being a far tougher team to play against

Lol bitter spitefullness.Have a look at yourself.Three league titles and seven FA Cups.It would be nice to see a future Everton manager, achieve something like that.

He is bitter and spiteful. When Sterling laughed at the media linking him with Arsenal, Wenger labelled him a serial cheat in front if the world's media. A few weeks later he wanted to sign him again. The hypocritical lady garden.
