Arshavin deal???

is it just me or is there something fishy about the Arshavin transfer. 24hrs after the deadline, surely they cant use the snow as an excuse since he was back and forward from the ground all day. I suspect this is going to be another Tevez affair

Cant stand Arsenal but glad Arshavin will play in the Premiership. And good thing that we will not play Gunners anymore this season (or may be in the FA Cup final?)

I do think something dodgy is going on with the Arshavin Deal. The FA said that the deadline will be extended - only in special circumstances - like the guy got trapped in the airport due to snow.

However Arshavin was at Arsenal all day - nothing to do with weather. It shouldnt have gone through.

If I understand correctly the deal was done yesterday but the FA agreed it only today. God knows why.

I think the deal between Arsenal & Zenith had been sorted, so as far as Fifa and the FA's concerned, it's all above board.

The delays were due to Zenith & Arshavin not agreeing on how much of his loyalty bonus he was owe back to them - an issue between a player and a club, nothing to do with his transferring to Arsenal.

Well, we are not regarded as a big club too many so we almost certainly would have been treated differently.

Also isnt david dein on the FA board of directors, surely he still has the arse at heart. Surely there has to be some transparency, atleast from the FA explaining why they alowed the extension. I believe that we will finish above Arsenal this year but if Arshavin hits form it may tip the balance in their favour.
